Fiber Barrel Plant – Barrel Fabrication/Indexer Controls Upgrade & Safety Mats Integration

Provided Control Panels Design & Build, Controls Engineering, S7 Programming, Comfort Panel Programming, Safety Mat configuration, and Electrical Installation.  Project was to automation multi-station Fiber Barrel indexing/fabrication and integrate Safety Mats and light curtains to protect operators while barrels were indexed.  Implementation was for two plant locations.

Technology: Siemens S7 315, Siemens Comfort Panels, Banner Light Curtains, and Schmersal Safety Mats

 

Food Plant - Energy Monitoring

Upgrades to Electrical, Gas, & Water Systems for tracking Historical Data and Trending. 

Operating System: Windows Server Windows 2008 incorporating Wonderware System Platform

 

Food Plant - CIP Upgrade Project

Provided Control Panel Design & Build, Controls Engineering, ControlLogix programming, Wonderware System Platform programming, InTouch screens, Thin Client configuration, and Historian configuration. 

Technology: Wonderware System Platform, Historian, ControlLogix, Ethernet Managed Switches, DeviceNet, and Wonderware/Arista Thin Clients

 

Pharmaceutical Plant – Batch and Filtration System Controls

Provided Control Panels Design and Build, ControlLogix Programming, and PanelView Plus Programming.  Consisted of two projects, initial installation in 2012 and expanded in 2013.  Projects included Batching Tanks, Ultra Filtration, and CIP.

Food Plant - Base Installation of Wonderware System Platform and Thin Clients

Provided Control Panel Design & Build, Controls Engineering, ControlLogix programming, Wonderware System Platform programming, InTouch screens, Thin Client configuration, and Historian configuration.  This project was the initial implementation of System Platform at the plant.

Technology: Wonderware System Platform, Historian, ControlLogix, Ethernet Managed Switches, DeviceNet, Arista Thin Clients/Wonderware screens

Brewery – Fermentation Expansion and CIP Programming

Provided ControlLogix Programming and Siemens S7 Programming for Fermentation Tanks, CIP, and Product Tanks.  Projects consisted of re-programming and interfacing existing systems with newly installed systems.

Chemical Plant – Resin Reactor Controls Upgrade

Provided Control Panels Design, Controls Engineering, ControlLogix Programming, & iFix consulting.  Project was to create and implement new Batch Phase Logic in a ControlLogix PLC that was previous controlled by an obsolete Provox DCS system.

OEM – Dust Collectors Controls

Provided Control Panel Design & Build, Controls Engineering, ControlLogix programming, and PanelView Plus programming to develop standard models and customization of standard designs of Dust Collectors that are shipped worldwide.

Can Manufacturing Plant – Controls Upgrade on Four Presses

Provided Control Panels Design & Build, Controls Engineering, ControlLogix Programming, PanelView Plus Programming and Electrical Installation.  Projects were to upgrade obsolete controls on four progressive punch-presses for aerosol caps.

Technology: ControlLogix, PanelView Plus, and AMCI PLS module (programmable limit switch)

 

Food Plant – Jelly System Controls

Provided Control Panel Design and Build, Controls Engineering, ControlLogix Programming, and FactoryTalk View Programming.  Project was to automate (12) Jelly Kettles, Bredo Mixers, Batch Tank, Vacuum Kettle, and Hold Tanks.

Food Plant – Batching Systems

Provided Control Panel Design, Controls Engineering, SLC 5 Programming, ControlLogix Programming, PanelView Plus Programming.  Project was to program new Flour, Paste, and Emulsion systems and integrate with existing Batch Tanks and new Batch Tanks.

OEM – Servo Gantries and Robots

Provided Controls Engineering, ControlLogix Programming, PanelView Plus Programming, Kinetix Servo Programming, and Fanuc Robot Programming.  Project was for Robots to load wafers into servo positioned cassettes, pick up cassettes, transfer them to an oven, transfer back to original location, and unload the wafers.  System had thirteen servos and two robots.

Food Plant - GE9030 PLC Conversion and Engine Room Compressor Controls Upgrade

Provided Control Panel Design/Build, Controls Engineering, ControlLogix Programming, and Wonderware/Arista Thin Clients

Technology: Wonderware System Platform, Historian, ControlLogix, Ethernet Managed Switches, Arista Thin Clients/Wonderware screens

 

Food Plant – Homogenizers and Tank Additions

Provided Control Panel Design and Build, Controls Engineering, and ControlLogix Programming.  Project was to add Homogenizers and additional Batch Tanks to an existing system and interface to a Honeywell DCS.

Ice Cream Plant – Process Batching and CIP

Provided Control Engineering, ControlLogix Programming, and PanelView Plus Programming.  Consisted of two projects, initial installation in 2009 and expanded in 2014. Projects included Processing, Batching, Flavoring, and CIP.

Food Plant – Recipe Management and Historical Data Collection

Provided Controls Engineering, SQL Database Programming, SLC 5 programming, and ControlLogix Programming. Project was to create a Relational Database to download Recipe batch set points and batch sequencing parameters to PLCs, collect Historical Data, and create Reports

Candy Plant – Extruder Mixer Controls Upgrade

Provided Controls Engineering, ControlLogix Programming. Project was to upgrade a PLC 5 to ControlLogix, create a new Extruder Program, and integrate new Micro Motion Flow Meters

Food Plant - Heat Recovery and Boiler High Pressure Pumps

Provide Control Panel Design and Programming to recover hot water from the Kemco systems and to improve the control of the existing Boiler High Pressure Pumps.

OEM – Glue Application and Glue Inspection for Carton Machines

Provided Controls Engineering, Siemens S7 Programming, and Siemens Comfort Panel Programming.  Project was to program Glue Application programs and Glue Inspection programs on carton machines for an OEM.

Truck Plant - Thermal Oxidizer Exhaust Fan VFD

Provided Design, Configuration, Integration, and Electrical Installation of 400 HP Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 750 Variable Frequency Drive.  Project was to provide turnkey replacement of an existing obsolete VFD.
